April 9/25 Update

Hello Everyone and Happy Spring!

The studio has become very busy and I have a small waitlist. However, I am pleased to share that I have an art therapy practicum student working in the studio and she is able to take new clients. I am also proud to share that she is my daughter!

Beatrix (Bea) is Nature Park Art Therapy Studios practicum student. She is currently in Vancouver Art Therapy Institute 15 month program to be a certified Art Therapist. Bea completed her Early Childhood Education Diploma at Vancouver Island University, and has a Bachelors of Child and Youth Care from the University of Victoria. Bea started her Art Therapy Practicum with Nature Park Art Therapy Studio in September 2024, and has been offering both individual and group sessions. If you or someone you know is interested in trying Art Therapy , this is a great opportunity and student sessions are at a lower cost.

Please feel free to send me a message with any enquiries or comments.

Update for 03/2023

There are two spaces left in my Spring Art Groups, starting after Spring Break !

By popular demand, I am offering a Comic Drawing Group ! This is not a drawing class but more a chance to explore emotions, imagination, problem-solving and self-esteem through the creation of our own characters and their stories. Please send me a note if you would like more information.

Update 11/2022

Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well and gearing up for the holiday season. I am just amazed at how fast November slipped past! I just wanted to let you all know that the studio will be closed December 16- December 26 so I can spend some time with my own kids and catch up on a bit of sleep! I will have information about the next art groups by next weekend so feel free to send me a quick note if interested and I will send you the flyers.

Covid 19 and Communicable Illness Update

Those who access the services at Nature Park Studio are asked to do their best to help to reduce the spread of illness by regular hand-washing and cancelling when sick. Materials and furniture are cleaned often. Hand sanitizer and washroom facilities are always available.
